Hard Disk Imaging

As part of or build process we can provide a full disk imaging service. Disk space can be partitioned, formatted, and installed with your specific operating system requirements.    

Typically, hard disks are prepared… 

Using Windows System Preparation Utility (Sysprep) disks are deployed with a standard Windows installation with latest updates and device drivers installed. 

Or 

A PC is supplied prior to build for the customer to a build disk image
with an operating system, specific settings applied and applications are installed.  We then collect the image PC.  Your image is then tested for any errors and deployed onto each disk at the point of build.  

Throughout both processes we guarantee component continuity.  

PC Domain Setup

Have your PCs ready to connect immediately to your Windows Domain. 

Provide us with any LAN specific settings (Gateways, DNS, IP etc), with domain credentials and we will setup each PC ready for your network. We request that the settings are provided in an Excel spreadsheet. 

BIOS Configuration

We can configure your PC BIOS prior to delivery.  This can include replacing the BIOS boot logo with your school logo at system startup, and setup of BIOS passwords to prevent tampering of sensitive system settings. 

Plastic welding of unused drive bays

5.25” and 3.5” drive bays that are not fitted with devices can be plastic welded. The plastic weld fuses the blanking plates together with the case facia. Welded bays are then less like to be damaged by over enthusiastic users. Unused bays do not have to be welded, but when welded they cannot be used later to fit additional devices like optical drives, card readers, floppy drives etc. 

Unboxing, Install to Desktop, and removal of packaging

Remove the hassle of commissioning your new equipment with our comprehensive installation service.   

Your PCs are prepared and delivered normally 2-3 days prior to installation.  Our teams will unbox all your new equipment and install to desktop as you require.  Where possible all PCs have a basic power-on test.  Any possible transit related or DOA issues are normally resolved on-site by a technical engineer who forms part of the install team. 

We complete the installation by removing all packing from the site.  This service is usually only provided with orders of 30 or more PCs.
